We are the children of Norwegian immigrants
so it was a page-turner when we visited the "homeland" in 2009.
One of our family myths is that all Norwegian food
is white...lefse, lutefisk, cod, potatoes, etc.
Not true, of course. We were greeted with colorful smorgasbords
every day of our tour...but just for the fun of it,
I photographed this table setting with white food
confiscated from the serving board.
